Nicole and Patrick’s cave wedding at Wente Vineyards was a splendid celebration that warmed the chilly December air. The sandstone caves made for an intimate, moody and romantic ceremony and reception. The floral creations by Alicia from Von der Lieth incorporated beautiful jewel tones and neutrals that worked beautifully on the tables and in Nicole’s beautiful bouquet. The bride’s elegant lace gown is designed by Sarah Seven . Derek Mizuno from Sutherland Entertainment created the perfect party atmosphere for all the guests. From the bride, “We have been together for 10 years. We met at The Ohio State University when we both started working at the same restaurant. Still by far our favorite jobs…for obvious reasons! We decided what a better way to celebrate a decade than getting married (yes we know…finallyyyyyy….you’re welcome family and friends). Although we currently live in NYC, my sister lives in Pleasanton, CA and we have spent a number of family vacations in California, specifically in wine country. A few years ago we were in a winery when we looked at each other and thought yep this could work! Fast forward a few years and when Patrick proposed this past summer we knew we wanted to get married in California. Having previously been to Wente we thought their caves would be perfect for a beautiful and intimate winter wedding.” Congratulations to Patrick and Nicole!
