Check out Sarah and Jeff’s adorable small outdoor wedding for great itimate celebration ideas. Held on their their rustic Northern California property in Morgan Hill, Ca, the couple chose not to have a large traditional event. This modern duo rented wonderful and unique furnishings for the outdoors, hired an Indian food truck food truck and put up a canopy for a night of dancing . They live on a large ranch south of San Jose, so wanted to create these special memories on the land they call home.
Guests were invited to what they called a house warming party. The couple first greeted folks in casual clothes and offered everyone food and drinks. Soon after, Sarah snuck away with her girls to put on a fabulous lace dress and stunning heels. On the side of the home, away from the eyes of the partygoers, the couple snuck in a first look for a chance of a private moment. They then paraded out of their back door in wedding attire ,where all were mingling, and asked all to join them for their wedding. What a fun surprise! With their beloved pitbull dog in tow, they exchanged vows under the redwood trees on property.
After an enormous outpouring of love, a fabulous spread of food appeared and music played for everyone to begin the party. Sarah actually made the stunning wedding cake! The evening was warm, and guests made their way from the dance floor to the starry outdoors for hours of fun. They truly pulled off an epic and unique intimate wedding. Now is a great time to consider a smaller wedding, and the options in the Bay Area and Northern California are endless. Let me know if you have any questions, I’d love to help. Congratulations to the newlyweds! Check out the engagement photos we made at Stanford here.
