San Francisco Bay Area Boudoir Session-Susan

This San Francisco Bay Area Boudoir session features and celebrates a wonderful and talented young woman, Susan. She, too, is a photographer but wanted to finally be the subject, not the shooter. Susan is a mother to a wonderful girl and is has so much to look forward to in life. She is so gracious, modest and kind. You want to be her friend, immediately. Making her photographs will always be a treasured memory for me. Thanks to the amazing team of Kristen and Gigi for her transformation. Please read what the experience was like for Susan.

I decided to invest in these portraits because I wanted to treasure my youth and value myself. Too often I hear in my head, “you’re not skinny enough, you aren’t pretty enough, you don’t have enough money. ” then at some point I realized, I’ll be 80 someday and be so sad for not doing this. I HAVE to do this NOW. I’ll find a way to pay for it, and I’m beautiful just the way I am.

I was definitely nervous, at least a little. I’ve never done anything like this but Christina and her team made me feel relaxed and glad to be there.

The session made me feel GORGEOUS AND EMPOWERED. I felt like a movie star or model. This was the first time I’d had my hair and make up professionally done, on top of that I was surrounded by women telling me how beautiful I was. While posing, I imagined what the portraits were going to look like and I felt so proud of myself for CHOOSING to put myself first for once. 🙂

I was euphoric for the entire day. It was such an inspirational high that I felt like I could do anything; I am woman, hear me roar! It really planted the seed of “Put yourself first, you DO matter.” This was a huge defining point in my life. I had no clue it would change the way I look at myself.

When I saw my portraits I couldn’t stop smiling. 🙂 ALL the images were breathtaking and it was such a fun way to remember one of the best days of my life. I felt like this session was my rite of passage into womanhood. EVERY woman deserves this experience. Christina is the best, I’m really glad I trusted HER with this important session; she really knew what she was doing and what I wanted. She made my portraits into works of art and I get to treasure these for a LIFETIME!

Definitely worth it! You really can’t put a price on a life changing experience with a “product” that increases in value as time passes, especially in a time where all our normal purchases depreciate at the time of purchase. Like a fine wine, the value increases. Damn, I’m proud of myself for doing this!
