Palace of Fine Arts Wedding Film | Susan and John

What a pleasure it was to be commissioned to create a wedding film for Susan and John’s Palace of Fine Arts wedding. For those who aren’t familiar with the San Francisco landmark, it is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. One of only a few surviving structures from the Exposition, it is still situated on its original site. It’s a gift to the City, for sure, and photographing there is always a pleasure. It has played a special role in their relationship so it’s rewarding to have it featured in their wedding story.

But, this darling elopement was bound to get a bit hairy. I think I found soulmates in Susan and John with their love of dogs! Their beautiful pooch Ozzy joined them at their intimate wedding in San Francisco. The couple wanted a small yet memorable ceremony so headed to the Palace of Fine Arts for the celebration. Afterward, we made our way around neighboring Pacific Heights for memorable portraits as well as the Presidio. I loved the relaxed attitude Susan and John had and wish them the best!
