One of my best friends, Jennifer Zdon, lives in New Orleans. We studied photojournalism at San Francisco State University together, and she went on to become a Pulitzer Prize winning staff photographer at the Times-Picayune. We both took the same path by eventually starting our own boutique photography businesses and have never looked back. Her phenomenal business is Twirl Photography in New Orleans. When you swing by the Big Easy, make sure to book a shoot with her. On my last visit, we did a few inspiration shoots at an incredible venue, Race and Religious. The brick, the restored details and historic antiques are drool-worthy. This boudoir inspiration session is with Heather, a lovely New Orleans model. The natural light and drama in this Southern mansion set such a great mood for boudoir. When photographing Boudoir in the Bay Area, I also search for a similar aesthetic. My Boudoir Party is nearly sold-out but you can always book me for a private Boudoir Session. Also considering hosting a girls Boudoir Party of your own! It is empowering, joyful and will change how you see yourself.
