Why should newlyweds have all the fun? Roxane and Willie have been together for 46 years and married for 36. In thinking about the best location for portraits, we chose Yountville as the setting. This is a quaint town in the Napa Valley, home to French Laundry and boutique stores. The light was golden and the leaves were turning, so we strolled through the streets and ended in a hidden vineyard. Roxane looked like royalty in her black lace a-line dress. Several tourists stopped to compliment the couple. Roxane and Willie delight for other’s company is inspiring and it will be a long time before I stop hearing their joyful laughter in my head.
