This San Francisco Presidio wedding features Meghan and Chris. When I think of their names, laughter, joy and smiles come to mind. They are mad for eachother and they so enjoyed their beautiful San Francisco Presidio wedding. They both got ready at the Inn at the Presidio. This is an historic inn in the heart of the Presidio. The pillars and porch were truly romantic. Their ceremony and reception took place at the San Francisco Film Centre. I had never photographed there before so it was a real treat. The architecture is clean and Californian, with white walls and palm trees. The guests even had a peek of the Golden Gate Bridge from the ceremony lawn. We traveled throughout the Presidio for some beautiful portraits. I adore the light spilling through the eucalyptus trees. Here’s a fun story from the bride: “We met back in 2010 at a Conan O’Brien live show in SF where I was waiting in the lobby. Chris came up to say hi and started asking me questions, but I had couldn’t hear anything he was saying. Somehow I interpreted that he was either looking for tickets for the show or meeting a blind date and had mistaken me for that person. Really, he was just saying hello because he recognized me from the building we both worked in. Needless to say, it was an awkward exchange. Several months later, our good friend Marty arranged a happy hour where we got to officially meet and that was that!
As a couple, we both have a love for movies, studied film in school and Chris actually co-owns a video production company. We knew we wanted something in the Presidio because it’s so quintessentially San Francisco and the area is beautiful. Choosing the SF Film Centre in the Presidio was a no-brainer!”
