San Francisco Engagement Photography | Melissa & Amir

What could be more romantic than a girl in a tulle skirt in the arms of her beloved? Nothing. Melissa and Amir let me run them around San Francisco for a high-energy engagement session. To begin, we visited the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park and bandstand. The bamboo and organic park setting offered a natural, lush backdrop. When Melissa showed-up in a red gown, I knew I needed to photograph them with the columns at the bandstand and with the bright green benches. Off to Russian Hill we went to capture views of North Beach. They live in this part of the City so it was meaningful to have it represented in their gallery. Towards twilight, we headed to Pier 7. Melissa’s light blue tulle skirt mirrored the evening sky and couldn’t have been more captivating. It was just the right time of night to witness the Bay Lights on the Bay Bridge, an art installation by artist, Leo Villareal. Thank you for allowing me to capture these memories for you, I can’t wait to photograph the wedding!
