Irene and Che traveled from their New York City home to the lush vineyards of California for their destination wine country wedding. It was a true pleasure working with this laid back couple, who spent most of their day laughing and truly enjoying each moment. Their guests also made the long journey from the East Coast. Luckily, the weather was perfect and everyone was able to enjoy the balmy evening under the stars. Their venue in Livermore, California, Murrieta’s Well, is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. The weathered barrel room is intimate and versatile. It makes for a romantic indoor reception spot and has great access to the outdoor patio as well. Market lights are strung in the evening for outdoor dancing. This creates a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. Irene’s Grecian inspired gown by Vera Wang looked sublime amidst the green foliage and the rustic accents. She is a modern dancer and this design gave her the ease of movement throughout the day.
