McKenzy and Teddy’s Lake Tahoe wedding was both dazzling and down to earth. The evening before, the couple and families held a festive welcome party at McKenzy’s childhood home in Squaw Valley. Guests enjoy sweeping views, signature cocktails, corn hole, and a taco truck. It was a perfect opportunity for out of town guests and local friends to meet and greet. The next day, they both got ready at their venue,Sunnyside Resort. The bridesmaids looked adorable in their pastel floral robes. The couple and bridal party traveled back to Squaw Valley to see each other for a first look in the alpine meadow right outside her family home. It must have been a priceless moment for the bride, having had so many childhood memories made right there. The California sky was blue, the clouds were big and they were surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada that has played a significant part of their love story. They are both award-winning skiers, so it was meaningful to be surrounded by the mountains they love so much. They met and fell in love on a ski trip and have been inseparable since. All made their way back to the Sunnyside Resort for their ceremony on the deck, with breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe. The bride’s brother was escorted by the couple’s beloved dog, Harper, who brought a smile to everyone. The evening was filled with laughter, stories and dancing. Congratulations to Mckenzy and Teddy!
