This Healdsburg wedding took place at the romantic Madrona Manor in the Sonoma Wine Country. For couple, Margaret and Richard, who live in Cincinnati, this was the perfect spot for their destination wedding. They are both classical musicians and wanted an intimate venue with loads of character and historical charm. Nestled in the hills above the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, Madrona Manor is an exceptionally lovely Victorian estate surrounded by eight acres of wooded and landscaped grounds. The Mansion was built in 1881. In April of 1987 the Madrona Manor was placed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Historic District. Margaret’s classic beauty was easily captured in this location. I adored her romantic gown and timeless style. Richard’s reaction to her during the first look was priceless: stunned, tears and embraces. I’m so happy the winter weather cooperated and gave the couple a day they’ll never forget.
