Half Moon Bay Wedding | Cat & Doug

Although there are many Half Moon Bay wedding venues, this lighthouse took the cake. Cat and Doug’s Half Moon Bay lighthouse wedding was as romantic as they come. Because they got engaged at Battery Point Lighthouse in Crescent City, they thought it perfect to have their ceremony at Pigeon Point Lighthouse in Pescadero. This spot was a refuge for Caterina growing up in the Bay Area and she would invariably find herself at the lighthouse after long drives. Cat was radiant in her art deco themed attire, including her Jenny Packham Eden gown and glitzy Jimmy Choo heels. She assembled her incredible bouquet which consisted of antique jewels and brooches she’s collected through the years. She got ready at the Seal Cove Inn, Moss Beach, and rode in an incredible 1927 Stutz Limo to marry the man of her dreams. The journey she made with her father to Doug at the altar was so emotional and beautiful. As the waves crashed on the shores of the Pacific, this beautiful bride made her way to say ‘yes’ to her soulmate. They held a sand ceremony and wrote love to notes to each other. Afterwards, we made our way to the cypress groves for portraits and then off to a casual and festive reception at the Moss Beach Distillery. If guests hadn’t shed enough tears by then, Cat serenaded Doug which brought down the house. Ready to see it all? We also created a beautiful Wedding Film for them.  See it HERE. Congratulations to Cat and Doug!
