Elegant Country Club Lesbian Wedding | Katherine & Cassidy - Nightingale Photography

Happy one year anniversary to this beautiful couple! I can’t believe it’s been a whole year.

Katherine and Cassidy’s stunning lesbian wedding was held at the Claremont Country Club in Oakland, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. This celebration incorporated traditional elegance and goofy uniqueness. They wanted a chic geek wedding that encapsulated their love of Kingdom Hearts and our generally goofy selves, all while still giving everyone the feeling of attending an elegant party. They got married on September 28, 2019, after a two-year engagement (Katherine asked Cassidy to marry her). Katherine and Cassidy both appeared at the door together on their father’s arms. Joe, the officiant, then cut the musicians off and called, “Heads or tails?” down the aisle. Katherine and Cassidy staked their claim, and Cassidy won! She walked down the aisle with her father, and once she was at the front, Katherine and her father followed suit. I love that both these brides wore incredible gowns, they looked lovely. The entire day filled with laughter, family and friends. As a Bay Area wedding photographer, it’s a great privilege to tell stories of soulmates finding each. This was certainly the case for Katherine and Cassidy. Congrats to the brides!
