A Napa Valley Wedding Celebration at Charles Krug Winery
Hannah and Conor’s epic Wine Country wedding took place at Charles Krug Winery, in the lush Napa Valley. Arriving on the luxurious property in quaint St. Helena reminded me why the Napa Valley is so treasured. The buildings and grounds transport you to a magical space, and couldn’t be a more exquisite wedding venue. The house available to wedding couples on the property was adorable. Conor, his dad and guys got ready together, looking polished and modern in blue suits and shades. Upstairs, Hannah and her bridal party enjoyed the cottages bedrooms. The emotional moments started right away, as I got to capture Hannah’s mom helping to clasp the family’s heirloom pearls around her neck. Oh boy…the tears began rolling, for all of us. The bridesmaids all congregated in the living room, for Hannah’s big reveal. I loved capturing all the spontaneous expressions of joy. So much love and connection was felt on this day. The couple decided to see each other prior to the ceremony, called a First Look. It’s a lovely opportunity to see one another in private and share a moment together. Well, Conor could hardly contain himself upon seeing her beauty for the first time. What a moment.
The ceremony was staged under the redwood trees on the sprawling property. Wonderful Jewish traditions were incorporated, including a huppa adorned with flowers, and of course, the breaking of the glass. The fabled Napa sunset graced the skies above the vineyard that evening where we took portraits, and the couple had a moment to be together without their guests. The night continued and was filled with tender speeches and vivacious dancing, including dancing the hora. Congratulations to Hannah, Conor and their families on this wonderful occasion!
