Barn Wedding in Mt. Lassen

Jessie and Ethan held their barn wedding in the Mt. Lassen area. Jessie grew up near Lassen National Park, and her childhood home looks across a meadow housing Olsen barn. This is where all wonderful festivities took place. The fields around it were fragrant with wildflowers and attracted wildlife. It was truly a spectacular location, filled with meaning. Jessie and Ethan met online, and quickly fell in love discovering mutual interests such as golf, Rosy (Jssie’s dog) and kale.  The meadow is a special place in Jessie’s heart. In addition to it’s natural beauty, it also evokes memories of Jessie’s late father who loved the outdoors and spending time looking out at the meadow and barn from the back porch. Ethan, falling as in love with the meadow as Jessie’s family, proposed to Jessie in the barn. There seemed to be no better place to get married. The fields around it were filled with wildflowers and active wildlife. It was truly a spectacular location, filled with meaning. The events began in her family home with a private Ketubah (Jewish marriage document) followed by the Bedeken (the veiling… he makes sure it’s his bride and then places the veil over her face.) What a First Look! Jessie could not have been more stunning in her Jenny Packham “Aspen” dress. Her comfy cowboy boots took her through the day in style. The ceremony took place outdoors on a crisp Spring day. Appetizers and drinks were served in the barn and the evening’s dinner and dancing were held in a beautiful tent. Congratulations again to Jessie and Ethan! Location: Mt.
